Liu Guixiang, standing member of the adjudication committee of China’s Supreme People's Court (SPC) at the vice-ministerial level, met with a delegation led by Kim Jeong-wook, president of the Korean Bar Association, in Beijing on April 16.
Liu extended welcome to the delegation and briefed them on the latest practice and progress of Chinese courts in the digitalization and intelligent development.
He said that Chinese courts have deeply integrated technological innovation with judicial work, significantly improving the quality and efficiency of adjudication, and contributing Chinese solutions to the global digital transformation of the judiciary.
Liu noted that Chinese courts stand ready to work with their counterparts in the Korean legal profession to promote the healthy development of artificial intelligence in the judicial field and to advance social fairness and justice.
For his part, Kim expressed his appreciation of the meeting and said he hopes both sides would enhance exchanges and further deepen practical cooperation in the judicial field.
Officials from relevant departments and directly affiliated institutions of the SPC also attended the meeting.
