The National Judges College hosted the inaugural training program for judges from Thailand’s administrative courts in Beijing from March 15 to 21. Sun Zhenping, head of the Political Department of China's Supreme People's Court (SPC), delivered remarks at its closing ceremony.
Sun stated that China’s SPC stands ready to work with the Supreme Administrative Court of Thailand to deepen practical cooperation in areas such as judicial personnel training.
He emphasized that the Chinese side would continue to promote mutual learning of legal civilizations and share experiences in the development of the rule of law under the Belt and Road Initiative, thereby providing sustained legal momentum for building a China-Thailand community with a shared future.
Trahngan Kietsiriroj, president of the Central Administrative Court of Thailand, speaking on behalf of the participants, expressed their appreciation for the curriculum design, its careful organization, and the practical outcomes of the training program.
Centered on the theme of “empowering administrative justice: e-court and digital court technologies -- insights from China”, the program included thematic lectures, seminars and field visits.
A total of 25 judges and judicial officials from Thailand’s administrative court system took part in the program.
