Wang Zhongming meets with vice-president of Thailand’s Supreme Administrative Court
On March 16, Wang Zhongming, vice-president of the Supreme People’s Court (SPC) of China, met with a delegation led by Suchat Mongkollertlop, vice-president of the Supreme Administrative Court of Thailand, in Beijing.
Welcoming the delegation, Wang said that the judicial organs of China and Thailand have maintained long-lasting close exchanges under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries. He briefed the delegation on China’s progress in advancing the rule of law and the work of Chinese courts, with a particular emphasis on the development of diversified dispute resolution mechanisms and the development of digital courts. Wang expressed the hope that the two sides will continue to strengthen judicial exchanges and cooperation, so as to provide solid legal support for building a China-Thailand community with a shared future.
Suchat thanked Wang for the meeting and affirmed Thailand’s willingness to further enhance cooperation and exchanges with the Chinese side in the judicial field.
Following the meeting, Wang and Suchat jointly signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Supreme People’s Court of China and the Supreme Administrative Court of Thailand.
Officials from relevant departments of the SPC also attended the meeting.
