SPC releases typical cases on substantive resolution of disputes
To further advance the modernization of adjudication system and capacity and better meet the public’s demand for fair, efficient and convenient dispute resolutions, courts across the country have been implementing the Guidelines on Improving the Quality and Efficiency of Adjudication Work and Promoting the Substantive Resolution of Conflicts and Disputes.
These efforts aim to safeguard litigation rights in accordance with the law, and actively promote the substantive resolution and one-time settlement of disputes, which have achieved notable results.
The Supreme People’s Court recently released five typical cases on the substantive resolution of disputes, illustrating how the courts, at both stages of case acceptance and adjudication, have taken concrete measures to prevent cases from getting stuck in procedural steps and to enhance the quality and efficiency of adjudication work.
Looking ahead, courts will continue to address procedural inefficiencies and further improve the fairness, consistency, and authority of judicial decisions and judgments, ensuring that the public experiences both fairness and justice in every judicial case.
