Liu Guixiang attends China-Vietnam bilateral enforcement work video conference
On Aug 29, the Supreme People’s Court (SPC) of China and the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam held a China–Vietnam bilateral enforcement work conference via video link.
Liu Guixiang, a standing member of the SPC's adjudication committee at the vice-ministerial level, and Mai Luong Khoi, deputy minister of justice of Vietnam, attended the event and delivered remarks.
Liu said China and Vietnam share the same political system, common ideals and beliefs, and broad common interests, with their judicial institutions maintaining close exchanges and practical cooperation. He noted that Vietnam’s enforcement reforms provide a useful reference for China and expressed hope that the meeting would further deepen bilateral cooperation in this field.
Mai stated that Vietnam is ready to strengthen exchanges and practical cooperation between the two countries’ enforcement agencies.
During the conference, both sides held in-depth discussions on enforcement-related issues.
Representatives from the SPC’s political department, enforcement department, and international cooperation department also participated in the meeting.
