He Xiaorong meets with Thai Senate delegation

He Xiaorong, vice-president of the Supreme People’s Court (SPC) of China, met with a delegation led by Boonchan Nuansai, chairman of the Committee on Laws, Justice and Police Affairs of the Thai Senate, in Beijing on April 21.

He extended a warm welcome to the delegation. He briefed the guests on the general structure of China’s court system, as well as the achievements of and challenges faced by courts at all levels in improving judicial quality and efficiency through the application of big data and artificial intelligence technologies. He also called for deeper China-Thailand judicial cooperation to combat crime and support the building of a China-Thailand community with a shared future.

Boonchan Nuansai appreciated the warm reception and expressed the anticipation for in-depth discussions with the Chinese courts on topics including crime prevention and law enforcement mechanisms, cybercrime control, and international judicial cooperation.

Officials from the SPC and the Supervisory and Judicial affairs Committee of China's National People’s Congress also attended the meeting.
