SPC solicits opinions from lawmakers and political advisors on draft work report and adjudication work

The Supreme People's Court (SPC) convened a symposium on Dec 30 to solicit opinions from deputies to the National People’s Congress (NPC), the nation’s top legislature, and members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), the nation’s top political advisory body, on the draft of the SPC's work report and judicial adjudication work.

Zhang Jun, president of the SPC, attended the symposium, which was held in order to build up broad consensus through extensive research and investigation, and collaborate to enhance judicial adjudication on the new journey in the new era.

The symposium was chaired by SPC Vice-President Deng Xiuming, while other senior officials and judges of the SPC also attended.
