Seminar for judges from Arab states concludes at SPC
A closing ceremony for the seminar for judges from Arab states was held at the Supreme People's Court (SPC) of China on Oct 22. Li Chenglin, head of the SPC's Political Department, delivered a speech at the event.
Li emphasized that the seminar is an important initiative to promote practical cooperation between China and Arab states in the judicial field, to consolidate their consensus on law-based development of Belt and Road cooperation, and to advance the building of a higher-level China-Arab community with a shared future.
He expressed the hope that both China and Arab states would use the seminar as an opportunity to promote China-Arab friendship, deepen judicial exchanges and cooperation, and continuously explore innovative ways of collaboration, to jointly create a bright future of peace, development, cooperation and mutual benefit.
Seventeen judicial officers from Jordan, Morocco and Syria participated in the two-week training program.
