Noting that this year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, Zhang said that under the guidance of the leaders of both countries, the judicial authorities of both nations have maintained sound exchanges and cooperative relationship, with frequent high-level exchanges, increasing training programs and tangible achievements from pragmatic cooperation.

Zhang briefed the French guests about China's rule of law development and the work of Chinese courts, focusing on areas of interest to the French delegation such as adjudication management and the application of artificial intelligence in the judicial field. 

He emphasized China's longstanding commitment to peace and harmony, and expressed the hope that both sides would further enhance judicial exchanges and cooperation for more win-win results, propelling the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and France toward more achievements.

Fabius expressed gratitude for the meeting, which, he said, is highly productive. 

He highlighted the shared features of both countries as statute law jurisdictions with multiple similarities in the field of judiciary. 

Fabius said he hoped for deeper practical cooperation between the two countries' judicial authorities in areas such as adjudication management and artificial intelligence in order to consolidate political mutual trust between the two countries and deliver more benefits to the people of both nations.
