At the invitation of Zamirbek Bazarbekov, chairman of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic, Vice-President of China's Supreme People's Court (SPC) Deng Xiuming led a delegation to Kyrgyzstan for the centennial celebration of the country's judicial system from Sept 19 to 23.

During the visit, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov held a group meeting with heads of country delegations attending the celebrations. Deng met with Bazarbekov and conveyed congratulations on behalf of President of China's SPC Zhang Jun and himself. Deng gave an introduction on China's rule of law development at the meeting and exchanged views on Kyrgyzstan's digital transformation of its judicial system. Bazarbekov said he was impressed with China's rule of law development, especially the digital development of court work, expressing hope for further communication and cooperation.

During his stay, Deng also met with presidents of other supreme courts representing their countries at the event, including Turkey, Azerbaijan and Moldova. They held discussions on judicial affairs and enhancing mutual understanding.
