Yang Wanming attends closing ceremony of training program for judges from developing countries

The closing ceremony of the training program for judges from developing countries was held at the Supreme People's Court (SPC) of China on Nov 14. Yang Wanming, vice-president of the SPC, attended and addressed the event.

Yang extended his congratulations on the success of the program, noting that China, as the biggest developing country and a member of the Global South, is and will remain a sincere friend to and a reliable partner of developing countries. China is ready to work with judges from developing countries to build a multilateral judicial communication and cooperation platform that is innovative, inclusive and sustainable, he added.

Trainees from Ethiopia, Jordan, Myanmar, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, Tonga, and Samoa, as well as those in charge of the program at the National Judges College attended the ceremony.
