Yang Wanming attends JDRN launch meeting
The International Judicial Dispute Resolution Network (JDRN) was launched on May 18. Vice-president of the Supreme People's Court (SPC) Yang Wanming attended the launch meeting via video link and delivered a speech.
Yang said China has established a one-stop diversified dispute resolution mechanism with courts as the mainstay, which represents a new judicial dispute resolution model with Chinese characteristics featuring one-stop resolution, diversified participating forces, full-scale online process and door-to-door service. As a core founding member of the JDRN, China is willing to strengthen cooperation with other countries, actively promote international judicial dispute settlement procedures, and contribute Chinese wisdom to promoting the reform of the global governance system and building a community with a shared future for mankind, he added.
The mission of the JDRN is to promote the establishment of Court Alternative Dispute Resolution modalities around the world and timely resolution of disputes. Judges from Singapore, China, Australia, Canada, Germany, India, Malaysia, Philippines, The United Kingdom and the United States attended the two-day meeting.
