BEIJING -- China's Supreme People's Court (SPC) on Mar 24 released 10 civil and commercial cases covering disputes that emerge as enterprises are trying to resume business and manufacturing amid the coronavirus battle.

Involving disputes ranging from the breach of sales contracts to overdue loans of different companies, the typical cases were published to offer a reference and guidance to judges in dealing with similar cases, according to the SPC.

The SPC said more cases will be published to guide courts to better perform their role in the service of work and production resumption in the country.

From the coronavirus outbreak in January through March 18, people's courts at all levels in China registered a total of 2.12 million new civil and commercial cases of first instance, according to figures from the SPC.
