During the visit, Hu met with Geoffrey Ma Tao-li, chief justice of the Court of Final Appeal of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Sam Hou Fai, president of the Court of Final Appeal of Macao.
Hu outlined provision of judicial support to the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the building of internet divisions of the two courts.
Both the Hong Kong and Macao sides expressed their willingness to deepening judicial exchanges and cooperation with the SPC and said they would make more efforts to ensure the prosperity and stability of the two regions on the basis of the "one country, two systems" principle.
