Optimizing litigation services and adopting a split-flow model of cases play a role in improving judicial efficiency, according to an inspection visit in Guangdong province.

Jiang Wei, vice-president of the Supreme People's Court (SPC), inspected litigation service and the use of the split-flow model, which diverts complicated and simple cases into different channels, at courts in Guangdong province from Nov 15 to 16.

Jiang heard work reports from Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Dongguan municipal courts and collected accounts of difficulties of judicial work and suggestions on improving efficiency through adopting a system for handling case registration-related letters and calls and the split-flow model.

He affirmed Guangdong courts achievements in using innovative and high-tech measures to improve litigation services and improving adjudication and mediating efficiency through the split-flow model.

He stressed that upgrading and transformation should be a focus of modern litigation service centers.

He also encouraged promotion of the split-flow mode in all courts to let the people gain a stronger sense of fulfillment, happiness and security and feel fairness and justice in each judicial case.
