In a working meeting on news publicity by a periodical magazine held in Northwest China’s Shaanxi province, Tao Kaiyuan, vice-president of China’s Supreme People’s Court, pointed out that construction of a legal news media with international influence should be promoted on Sept 27.

Tao discussed with conference participants the need to insist on right political direction, creation of fine legal news reports, innovation of media convergence development patterns and strengthening of team building.

It’s required to improve abilities in international legal publicity and credibility as well as the skills of news publicity staff, according to Tao.

He also emphasized that the mission of legal news workers in this age should be to create thoughtful and qualified Chinese stories about law.
