A group composed of four delegations including 31 National People’s Congress deputies came to Heilongjiang Higher People’s Court for five days of review on July 16.
The deputies visited several departments of the court including the news conference hall, computer room, library, court archives, and litigation service center.
They also listened to introductions on the work of the court and basic solutions to court order enforcement difficulties from senior Supreme People’s Court officials.
Hu Yunteng, chief judge of the second circuit court of the Supreme People’s Court, said that enforcement difficulties have been the bottleneck problem restricting development of the court’s work. They arouse great social concern and comment.
He said he hoped that the deputies who visit the court for inspection will support its work and call on all of society to respect judicial adjudication.
It’s also necessary to face the difficulties in court order enforcement in the right way to build a sound environment for its advancement, he said.
The deputies will also go to other courts in Daqing city, Harbin city and Mohe county for inspection such as watching on-site order enforcement, attending a court trial and observing the court’s work in remote areas.
They will learn about the work of the courts in Heilongjiang province in improving order enforcement and furthering cultural development and litigation services. They will then bring forward proposals for improvements.
