Hu Yunteng, president of the Second Circuit Court of the Supreme People’s Court (SPC), met with a Croatian judge training class delegation on May 23.

Hu outlined the general condition of Chinese courts and judicial reform, saying that Chinese courts are now working to remove system obstacles that may restrict justice, and increase trial modernization.

China is willing to share experiences with Croatia in judge training and case study, Hu said, pointing out that the two sides should carry out more practical and efficient cooperation to provide more powerful judicial guarantees and services for the Belt and Road construction.

The head of the Croatian delegation expressed his gratitude for the meeting.
