The symposium on the documentary, temporarily named Daguo Zhongcai, or the Arbitration of the Great Powers, was held at the China University of Political Science and Law.
Huang Jin, president of the university, said China has a long history of arbitration.

Participants in the symposium discussed the documentary from different angles and perspectives, including its significance to national and global governance, core elements of arbitration credibility, and arbitration from an international perspective.
Huang said the documentary, in a storytelling way, can help to build a positive national image.
It could also help China’s arbitration system, theory, ideology and vision of going global, he added.
