Meng, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and head of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the CPC Central Committee, said Serbia and its people have made a very good impression on him.
He said he wished to see more pragmatic cooperation in fighting terrorism and transnational organized crimes and in developing law enforcement capacity, among other fields.
Meng urged the two countries to work more closely to provide security for economic and trade exchanges and key investment projects.
Stefanovic echoed Meng, expressing his thanks to China and its people for their help and support.
He said he wished to see closer law enforcement cooperation with China.
