Meng said that the Chinese government is firmly opposed to terrorism in all its forms and has always been committed to promoting international cooperation in the field of law enforcement security.
In the face of increasingly complicated situations in international anti-terrorism, China is willing to work with all parties to set up a cooperation mechanism to prevent and combat cyber terrorism, strengthen exchanges of experience, information, and case investigation, and jointly ensure cyber security, especially the security of the information infrastructure, Meng added.
Meng said that mankind has ushered in a new era of information revolution which has brought profound changes in the global governance system and new challenges to international security, and that terrorism, and especially cyber terrorism, is the common enemy of mankind, posing a serious threat to world security.
During the conference, Meng met with security officials from more than 10 countries, such as Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev.
