The new media services of the Supreme People’s Court (SPC) of China ranks second for comprehensive influence in the politics and law category, according to a list released by the opinion monitoring site with the people.com.cn.

SPC received 86.3 points, ranking second among the country’s new media services - specifically Sina Weibo, Tencent Weibo and TouTiao.com - from January 1 to April 30.
The score was calculated based on three indexes: vitality, communication capacity and interactivity.
Currently, the SPC’s Weibo account boasts over 32 million followers. Its Wechat platform has more than 337,000 followers and clicks on SPC stories on the news portal TouTiao.com reached nearly 14 million in the period.
The SPC has made great effort to build up its media platforms in recent years, which recently received wide applause for their innovative reporting on China’s Two Sessions and legal reforms.
