He Rong, vice president of China’s top court, met with a delegation from Macao’s legal and judicial training center, in Beijing on March 22. The delegation was made up of Macao’s 5th Judicial Workers Training Course attendees.
She introduced the Supreme People’s Court’s progress in judicial reform and judgment enforcement, and spoke of judicial exchange and cooperation between the mainland and Macao.
“The SPC has put forward major reform measures in recent years, such as mechanisms pertaining to exercise of judicial power, a quota system for judges, circuit courts and intellectual property tribunals, and a case-filing registration system, which have improved the quality and efficiency of judicial process,” the SPC vice president said.
He expressed best wishes for the trainees, saying they are the best in Macao and it is hoped that they will contribute to its progress in rule of law and to its cooperation with the mainland.
The delegation, led by Yin Sizhe, director of the training center, visited the Information Center of the SPC and talked with its head, Xu Jianfeng.
