According to the Opinion Concerning the Establishment of the Belt and Road International Commercial Dispute Resolution Mechanism and Institutions of the General Office of the Communist Party Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, the Supreme People's Court established a "one-stop" diversified international commercial dispute resolution mechanism that integrates litigation, mediation and arbitration(the Mechanism)in 2018.
In order to further promote the high-quality development of the "Belt and Road" initiative, and to give full play to the role of the Mechanism, on the basis of the applications made by relevant institutions, and taking the number of international commercial dispute cases accepted, the international influence, the achievements in the construction of informatization, and the actual effects in serving the "Belt and Road" initiative of the applicants into account, the Supreme People's Court hereby determines that the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission, the Shanghai Arbitration Commission, the Xiamen Arbitration Commission, the Hainan International Arbitration Court, and the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre to be included in the second group of arbitration institutions in the "one-stop" diversified international commercial dispute resolution mechanism.
