Chinese Makes Efforts to Promote Rule of Law in Cyberspace

Li Shaoping, justice and vice-president of the Supreme People's Court of the People's Republic of China, outlined China's achievement in construction of internet courts at the World Forum on Rule of Law in Internet on Dec 5 in Wuzhen, East China's Zhejiang province. His introduction contained three aspects — exploring internet courts' development rules, online judicial operation modes with Chinese characteristics and future plans for its development. Li says that innovation is the soul of the internet age and reform is a mission of the internet courts, adding that he hopes Chinese internet courts will provide experience in governance of the rule of law of the global cyberspace.
