| Patrick Safar, vice-president of the French National Chamber of Bailiffs of the Republic of France, introduces the development and functions of the Code of Civil Procedure at a seminar themed on "Structure of Enforcement Bodies" at the World Enforcement Conference on Jan 22. He said that judges in France are not in charge of enforcement and would only give judgment when there are problems and disputes during enforcement and adds that legislative bodies in France are making efforts to better adapt enforcement methods to diversified property types.
