China's courts are making efforts in the construction of modern enforcement work and look forward to more international judicial cooperation, said Zhou Qiang, president of the Supreme People's Court (SPC), at a seminar of the World Enforcement Conference on Jan 22.

The seminar was themed on "Future of informatization and enforcement". At the seminar, Zhou pointed out that he hoped judicial agencies around the world will share experience in informatization of enforcement and deepen international judicial cooperation.

He said promoting informatization of enforcement plays a role in resolving the problem of difficult enforcement.

He affirmed China's courts' efforts in promoting emerging technologies such as big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and block chain technology to improve enforcement efficiency and mentioned that the network inquiry system has made it easier and faster for enforcement bodies to find the person subject to execution.

Online judicial sales have helped solve the problem of property liquidation. An enforcement management system to manage courts at four levels in China with unified standards was established, which helps to optimize the enforcement management in a flat, intensive, visualized and standardized way. Zhou expressed his willingness to see all courts, enforcement bodies and international judicial organizations share experience, learn from each other and cooperate to improve modernization of enforcement.
