Zhang Jun, chief justice and president of the Supreme People’s Court (SPC) of China, met separately with representatives of judicial delegations from Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states and dialogue partners in Hangzhou, East China’s Zhejiang province, on April 22.
The chief justices of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states pledged to expand cooperation in a range of areas following the 20th Meeting of Chief Justices of Supreme Courts of SCO Member States, which convened in Hangzhou, East China’s Zhejiang province.

Senior judges from member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization called on Wednesday for deeper exchanges and cooperation in the use of artificial intelligence in the judicial field, emphasizing the need to balance innovation with legal and ethical safeguards.
The supreme courts of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states will further deepen judicial exchanges and cooperation, according to a joint statement issued on Wednesday.
Legal professionals from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states have emphasized the critical role of psychologists in cases involving children, while agreeing to strengthen collaboration and practical exchanges in juvenile judicial protection.
