Zhang Jun meets with president of Thailand’s Supreme Administrative Court
Zhang Jun, chief justice and president of the Supreme People’s Court (SPC) of China, met with a delegation led by Prasitsak Meelarp, president of the Supreme Administrative Court of Thailand, in Beijing on May 26.

Zhang welcomed the Thai delegation and noted that 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand. He highlighted the long-standing friendship and deepening cooperation between the two countries in various fields, including the judicial field, and expressed confidence that the visit would further strengthen ties and open a new chapter in bilateral exchanges and cooperation between the two judiciaries.
During the meeting, Zhang briefed the delegation on China's efforts to advance the rule of law and the work of the people's courts, particularly in digital court development, and shared experience on improving judicial efficiency and public access to justice through technological innovation. Zhang called for continued exchanges and deepened cooperation between judicial bodies of the two countries to support common development in the sector.
Meelarp thanked Zhang for the warm welcome and noted that the visit helped deepen mutual understanding and laid a solid foundation for future cooperation. He said he hoped to expand collaboration under the existing judicial agreements to better serve both nations.
The Thai delegation also toured the digital court laboratory of the SPC.
Vice President of the Supreme Administrative Court of Thailand Suchat Mongkollertlop, along with officials from both China's SPC and the Supreme Administrative Court of Thailand, attended the meeting.
