Zhang stressed the importance of handling each case from a political perspective and in accordance with the law - a principle the lecturers should guide judges to implement in their work.
He called for maintaining a problem-oriented approach, conducting "menu-style" teaching based on identified problems, and using typical cases to promote the correct adjudication philosophies, to ensure that local judges are well equipped with those philosophies and will surely practice them in judiciary.
He also highlighted the importance of mutual learning, integrating research into teaching, and providing on-site guidance to ensure the effective implementation of the reform agenda as required by the third plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
Speaking at the mobilization meeting, Li Chenglin, head of the SPC's Political Department, said that the lecture initiative is a practical measure to serve and support the high-quality economic and social development in the western region, aiming to enhance the quality and capacity of judicial staff of courts in the region and improve the efficiency of adjudication and enforcement work.
Li urged members of the lecture team to focus on addressing practical issues and ensure the smooth operation and tangible outcomes of the tour.
