Editor's Note: Zhang Jun, president of the Supreme People's Court (SPC), presented a report on the work of people's courts in adjudicating environment and resources related cases on Oct 21 during the sixth session of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress. The report mentioned that deepening reforms in the judicial system and institution of environment and resources adjudication, substantially strengthening professional judiciary, and fairly and efficiently adjudicating such cases, all contribute to promoting the building of a Beautiful China.
