Yang Wanming meets with deputy chief justice of Vietnamese top court
On July 3, Yang Wanming, vice-president of the Supreme People's Court (SPC) of China, met with a delegation headed by Nguyen Van Du, deputy chief justice of the Supreme People's Court of Vietnam in Beijing.
Yang welcomed the group on their visit. He said that the judicial cooperation between China and Vietnam has always aimed to promote the healthy and steady development of the China-Vietnam comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation. The recently-concluded seminar for courts of provinces in the China-Vietnam border areas has great significance in deepening understanding and consensus on jointly combating transnational crimes, judicial cooperation in civil and commercial matters, and the informatization development of courts, he said, raising his hope of establishing a regular communication mechanism to elevate judicial exchanges and cooperation between the two countries to new heights.
Du thanked Yang for the meeting and expressed his hope for deepening judicial exchanges and cooperation between the SPCs of both countries based on the outcomes of the seminar. He also looked forward to learning firsthand about China’s advanced experience in judiciary informatization development through this visit.
