Wang Shumei, female, Han ethnicity, was born in March 1963 and is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC). She holds a postgraduate diploma and has an LLM (Master of Laws) degree. She is a standing member of the Supreme People's Court (SPC)'s adjudication committee (vice-minister level), the Presiding justice and secretary of the leading Party members' sub-group of the Third Circuit Court of the SPC, and a Grand Justice of the second rank.
