The Supreme People's Court recently released the eighth and ninth groups of selected cases of judicial reform.

The cases were selected from 26 courts nationwide to promote good practices of tackling bottlenecks and institutional and systemic issues to deepen comprehensive reform of judicial accountability and civil litigation procedures.

The cases have focused on courts' practices on trial supervision and management, such as having cases heard directly by courts' presidents, improving unified applications of the law, building diversified dispute resolutions systems, improving civil litigation procedures and exploring the electronic litigation model.

The SPC has released 152 judicial reform cases in the nine groups.
