Online platform makes judicial studies more available
An online platform intending to collect papers of China's court trials was launched on Jan 30, intended to increase adoption of information technology in promotion of judicial studies.
At the launching ceremony, Yang Wanming, vice-president of the Supreme People's Court (SPC), pointed out that the platform collects judicial theoretical studies and other related sources which can be used by courts at various levels, and improve the integration and utilization of judicial resources.
He added that court workers will be able to share their trial experience and exchange their ideas on legal issues through the platform.
In addition, he urged wider dissemination of the courts' publications to promote the latest theoretical studies and take advantage of the online platform to support courts' judicial trials.
According to the People's Court Press, the online platform has collected 735 publications from courts at various levels in China in the past two years containing 17,524 papers with more than 90 million Chinese characters and nearly 20,000 pictures and charts.
