Netherlands' enforcement introduced at world confernce

Jona van Leeuwen, advisor to the president (International) of the Royal Professional Organization of Judicial Officers of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, outlined the Netherlands' enforcement situation at the World Enforcement Conference on Jan 22.

He described the Netherlands' moves in strengthening enforcement, such as issuing acts to clear judicial officers' missions.

Most enforcement work in the Netherlands is now conducted through the Internet, according to Jona van Leeuwen. He also mentioned that the organization has suggested launching a digital court to improve efficiency.

According to him, there are currently 780 judicial officers and 220 enforcement bodies in the Netherlands.

In addition, he introducedthat the organization aims to preserve the prestige, dignity and rights of judicial officers and to ensure that they act in accordance with the law.
