China's experience in joint punishment for credit system construction
Meng Xiang, senior judge and director-general of the Enforcement Department of the Supreme People's Court of the People's Republic of China, shares China's experience in enforcement and the construction of a credit system at a seminar themed on "Mutual Promotion of Enforcement and Credit System Construction" at the World Enforcement Conference on Jan 22. He briefly introduced laws and regulations for punishing defaulters, and explained methods of joint punishment conducted by various departments and their effectiveness. Finally, he said that more detailed laws and regulations of joint punishment will be made to guarantee normalized punishment.
