A total of 99 judges were rewarded as "National Outstanding Judges" and 200 were titled as "National Court Enforcement Models" at the National Conference of the Presidents of High Courts on Jan 17.

Their good work was rewarded by the Supreme People's Court (SPC), and was intended to encourage them to continue to be devoted to China's judicial work in the future.

At the rewarding ceremony, the judicial performance of courts at various levels in China was affirmed.

In recent years, courts have performed duties conferred by law and closely centered on the goal of "letting the people feel fairness and justice in each judicial case" and had achieved much in deepening judicial reform, promoting construction of smart courts and improving judicial capacity of judges.

The SPC stressed that all courts and judges must continue to improve judicial transparency and fairness and provide guarantees for securing a decisive victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and realizing the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.
