The court in Heping district, Shenyang city of northeast China's Liaoning province launched an intelligent robot named “Heping Fabao” on March 1. It is the first of its kind in Liaoning province and can provide 24-hour legal consultancy services for residents who want to file a lawsuit.

People can find the robot at the service hall of Heping people’s court or log in to the WeChat service platform of the court to seek help from a virtual assistant.

The robot can communicate with people by using voice and text.

Professional consultancy on criminal law, civil law, administrative law and intellectual property rights is available, which has helped improve efficiency at the court and reduced the demands on staff.
