From November 17-19, President of Supreme People’s Court (SPC) Zhou Qiang made an investigative tour to North China’s Hebei province, during which he called on local judges to work hard to provide strong judicial services as part of the country’s effort to build up a harmonious society.

At the Shijiazhuang Intermediate People’s Court, Zhou asked the judges to adopt more high-tech and information technologies to solve civil disputes.

“We should enhance informatization construction to better serve the people by providing highly-efficient legal services,” said Zhou.

At the Baoding Intermediate People’s Court, Zhou made a detailed enquiry about the changes in the number of cases handled after the launch of the case registration system. He asked judges to fully fulfill their responsibilities to make their due contributions to the joint collaborative development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.
