Judicial practice in spotlight
On Oct 16, a seminar on the legal academic and internship program was hosted by the Supreme People’s Court, during which SPC President Zhou Qiang called on judicial professionals to work hard in solving problems arising from judicial practices.
Zhou said the program, launched by the SPC, is an important measure in the training system of legal professionals in China, enhancing exchanges between judicial academic institutions and the enforcement agencies.
The program enables scholars and students of the law profession to undertake field studies at enforcement agencies, paving the way for a better understanding of the judicial system.
Zhou called on scholars and students to use their academic abilities to freely make suggestions to further development of the judicial reform undertakings. He also called on law professional students to cherish the internships and combine their academic knowledge with actual trial and execution practices.
The seminar was attended by judicial scholars, legal professional students and officials from the Ministry of Education and Peking University.
