Wang Yongchun, former deputy general manager of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), was sentenced to 20 years in prison with 2 million yuan confiscated, according to the Intermediate People’s Court of Xiangyang, Hubei province.

Wang was charged with accepting bribes, abuse of power and holding a huge amount of money with unidentified sources.
