Zhou Qiang meets with Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada Beverley McLachlin
On September 28, 2015, President of the Supreme People's Court of China Zhou Qiang met with Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada Beverley McLachlin in Beijing. Zhou Qiang pointed out that Sino-Canada relations of friendly cooperation have been developing rapidly in all fields since the two nations established diplomatic ties in 1970.
The two sides keep frequent exchanges at high level and other levels with active cooperation in various fields. The judicial exchanges have become increasingly vibrant. Zhou said he believed that Beverley McLachlin's current visit would further deepen bilateral judicial cooperation and write a new chapter in Sino-Canada relations.
Beverley McLachlin briefly introduced the Canadian justice system. She hopes that the two sides will further strengthen communication and coordination and deepen practical cooperation in the field of justice.
