The closing ceremony of the training program for judges from Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) countries was held at the Supreme People's Court (SPC) of China on Dec 19. Liu Guixiang, standing member of the SPC's adjudication committee (vice-minister level), attended and addressed the event.

Liu acknowledged the success of the program, saying that China is ready to work with all parties to continue to enhance the efficiency of judicial cooperation, strive to reach a broader consensus, and make efforts for safeguarding regional peace and stability, promoting economic growth and improving people's well-being.

He also said that judicial exchanges among SCO countries will continue to deepen, and China's SPC will carry out more exchanges and cooperation with its counterparts in SCO countries, so as to provide strong judicial services and guarantees for promoting the Belt and Road cooperation.

Representatives from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan delivered speeches on behalf of all trainees at the event.
