On Nov 22, the first training program for judges from BRICS countries kicked off at the National Judges College (NJC) of China.

The 16-day program, attended by 32 judges and judicial officials from Brazil, Egypt and Ethiopia, is a concrete practice of the BRICS spirit of openness, inclusiveness and win-win cooperation. Focusing on the capacity building of BRICS judges, the program will mainly introduce China's experience and achievements in such categories as the judicial system and adjudication systems for intellectual property, criminal, administrative, and environment and resources-related cases. There will be in-class lectures, on-site teaching, symposiums and field visits during the program, and the trainees will visit such venues as China's Supreme People's Court and courts in Beijing and East China's Zhejiang province.
