During the period of epidemic prevention and control, courts across Shaanxi province have focused on three key aspects in order to provide strong judicial services and support for the COVID-19 fight.

They have highlighted online litigation services, drawing on platforms like Weibo and WeChat to provide people with guidance on how to use the online litigation service platform.

They have also ramped up the publicity of their online case handling work, launching an intensive campaign to publicize new measures and examples that have warmed people's hearts during this period.

Sun Wei, a deputy to the National People’s Congress (NPC), learned from the official WeChat account of the High People's Court of Shaanxi that a judge in Lueyang county held online trials in the evening for the sake of the litigants, for whom it was inconvenient to attend the trials in the daytime. Sun was deeply moved by the judge’s attitude.

In addition, the court also set up a column on its official WeChat account to publish ordinary but touching stories of its judicial police officers who participated in epidemic prevention and control,.

In a similar manner, given the public’s rising attention to wildlife protection during the epidemic, Sun suggests people’s courts to further strengthen law dissemination activities and release typical cases on wildlife protection to promote the public to adopt a health-savvy lifestyle.
