On March 12, the provincial government of Jilin province and the province’s Higher People's Court held their first joint meeting to promote their interaction. This meeting was not only an important measure for building a law-based government but also an important step in advancing overall law-based governance in Jilin.

The interaction mechanism not only effectively strengthens the benign interaction between the government and the judicial system but also helps to improve the handling of corporate bankruptcies, optimize the business environment, strengthen social governance and deepen reform.

Gu Fengjie, a deputy to the National People’s Congress (NPC), said she hopes that the courts across Jilin province can better grasp the overall situation of the economic and social development in Jilin, further improve the quality and level of their judicial work, and better serve Jilin's revitalization.

Meanwhile, she stressed further developing the interaction mechanism to turn it into a routinized and long-standing mechanism which will help achieve a win-win situation where people’s rights and interests are well protected through substantial resolution of administrative disputes.
