Plan for Allocation of the Number of Deputies of the Minority Nationalities to the Eleventh National People’s Congress

In accordance with the Decision of the Fifth Session of the Tenth National People’s Congress on the Number of Deputies to the Eleventh National People’s Congress and the Election of the Deputies, the number of deputies to the Tenth National People’s Congress to be elected from among the minority nationalities shall be about 360, which is the same as that to the Eleventh National People’s Congress. The specific allocation plan is as follows:

I. The total number of deputies of minority nationalities elected from the provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government shall be 320, of which:

II. 14 deputies of minority nationalities shall be allocated to the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.

III. The rest of the 26 deputies of minority nationality deputies shall be allocated by the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress in accordance with law.
