He said he hoped that the Macao Public Prosecutions Office would continue to fully and accurately implement the "one country, two systems" policy, uphold the constitutional order established by the Constitution and the Basic Law, and maintain the principle of “patriots governing Macao”,to remain a strong pillar in safeguarding Macao’s stability and law-based governance.

Chan expressed his appreciation for the meeting and reaffirmed the commitment of his office to upholding the "one country, two systems" principle. He said he hoped to enhance collaboration with judicial authorities on the mainland in areas such as cross-border crime prevention, criminal justice assistance and talent development, thereby contributing to Macao’s deeper integration into national development.
