Zhang welcomed Nguyen's visit and highlighted the close relationship between China and Vietnam. He noted that the two countries are not only neighbors connected by mountains and rivers but also partners with common goals. In recent high-level exchanges, the top leaders of both countries reached important agreements on deepening comprehensive strategic partnership and building a China-Vietnam community with a shared future of strategic significance. Under this strategic guidance, judicial institutions from both sides have maintained close cooperation, continuously contributing to development of bilateral relations.
During the meeting, Zhang briefed the Vietnamese delegation on key aspects of China’s legal and judicial reforms, particularly in areas such as dispute resolution and adjudication management. He expressed hope that, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam, both sides will further strengthen judicial exchanges and cooperation, providing legal support for the alignment of the Belt and Road Initiative and the "Two Corridors, One Circle" framework.
Nguyen expressed his appreciation to the Chinese side for the hospitality. He acknowledged the similarities in the judicial systems of both countries and emphasized the need to consolidate political mutual trust and deepen collaboration at various levels for mutual benefit and long-term friendship.
The meeting was attended by Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Thanh Binh, along with representatives from China's SPC and Supreme People's Procuratorate, as well as relevant officials from the Supreme People's Procuracy of Vietnam, and the Vietnamese Embassy in China.
